Frequently Asked Questions
What are Easi‑Folding Doors?
Easi‑Folding Doors are a modern alternative to traditional French or sliding doors, designed with a smooth concertina-style opening. They allow multiple panels to fold neatly to one side, creating a wide, uninterrupted opening to your garden or patio.
How do Easi‑Folding Doors differ from bi‑fold doors?
While both systems fold, Easi‑Folding Doors typically use a slimmer frame profile and a more flexible hinge system, making them easier to operate and ideal for smaller openings. They also offer improved sightlines and a lighter feel compared to standard bi‑folds.
Are Easi‑Folding Doors energy‑efficient?
Yes. Our Easi‑Folding Doors are built with thermally efficient frames and high‑performance glazing to help retain heat, reduce draughts, and keep your home comfortable all year round.
Can Easi‑Folding Doors be customised?
Absolutely. You can choose from a range of colours, finishes, glazing options, and configurations to suit your home’s style. Whether you prefer a modern look or something more traditional, we can tailor the design to your space.
Do Easi‑Folding Doors require a lot of maintenance?
Not at all. The system is designed for smooth, low‑maintenance operation. Occasional cleaning of the tracks and glass, plus a quick check of the hinges, is usually all that’s needed.
Are Easi‑Folding Doors secure?
Yes. They come with multi‑point locking systems, toughened safety glass, and reinforced frames to give you peace of mind. Security is built into every part of the design.
Can they be installed in small openings?
Yes. One of the biggest advantages of Easi‑Folding Doors is their flexibility. They work brilliantly in both compact and wide openings, making them ideal for terraces, extensions, and smaller garden access points.
How long does installation take?
Most installations are completed within a day, depending on the size and condition of the opening. We’ll always confirm timescales during your survey so you know exactly what to expect.
Are Easi‑Folding Doors suitable for new builds and renovations?
Yes. Whether you’re upgrading an existing property or designing a new extension, Easi‑Folding Doors integrate seamlessly with modern and traditional architecture.
